Memorial Day Weekend!! Santa Cruz

The kids had so much fun out there. We pulled in and it was chilly. I mean wind blowing over cast chilly. We built sand castles and the kids were already getting in the water. The Band went and fetched the older two wet suits. We knew they were going in the water either way. The Fish.... is scared of the water so he just stood on the side lines and watched.

The sun came out and then I fetched my suit and some lunch.

I can't stop raving about the trip to Santa Cruz. I can totally see how surfing gets addicting. I didn't even get up on the board, but I think the fact my arms were two gelatinous masses may have something to do with it. It was just fun to try. Next time I will have done some upper arm workouts to get the lead out and paddle faster. The wetsuit was so tight that no cold water got in there.....sure breathing became more difficult but I was so jazzed about getting out there I loved it. The pony tails told everyone that I wasn't just another 15 year old boy out there. HAHAHA. Thanks Ixchelle and Linnea for watching the kids while we went out!! It was the best.

Wow long time no posting....

Well there has been things to do, and kidney stones to pass. I have finally finished with the surgery and the healing part that goes with it. I have a prize from getting the stone out. A small fragment of what they had to break up out of my ureter. Having a stint is not a fun ordeal but that lasted about four days and the pain was gone. I don't want to do it again so I am drinking water like crazy. I find out next Thursday why my body is producing lots of stones. Meanwhile I am cleaning my house and getting things organized. My kids are being so patient with this whole things it is ridiculous. I am so blessed with wonderful kids.
Aunt L. Came out and visited. So did my in laws. I was so glad to see them. It was getting really crazy around here. The bathrooms are still a wreck but the car, and kids' rooms are slowly recovering.
The Band took the wee ones out to the coast so I could "catch up and regain sanity" It has worked.

Beds made. Check
dishes done. Check
laundry put away..... Not all but getting there
vacuming. check
table room cleaned. Check
Kid's clothes out for church. Check
Down stairs potty clean... Check
CDs burned for Relief Society. Check
Try and finish book on vio vio. still processing
Lesson read for tomorrow.... almost finished
lunch prepped for tomorrow. check
Camera battery charged. check

I am all by myself.... this is such a weird feeling. I haven't had this feeling in a long time. It is nice but I am glad the girls are coming tonight to scrap.;) Seriously I couldn't have asked for a better way to unwind all the tightly wound gears in my head today. Thanks BAND! I love you.

Kidney Stones

Kidney stones bite. I had one that got embedded into my ureter. I know everyone was dying to know but the surgery went fine. I am heavily medicated. I feel awesome. And I am stone free on that one side that was blocked. The kids are trying to get over some colds and I think in a week or so we will be fan freakin' tastic.

I am digital scrap booking stoned for the next couple of days. It should be interesting.
